Despite impressive performance by other Golden Slipper contenders over the past few weeks, Military Rose remains a strong favourite to win the 2010 Slipper at $3.50 with leading bookmakers. Her price is quoted between $3.20 to $3.50 across the board. She does look hard to beat, given the way she has improved with each run, however, I think this is the price she will start Saturday even if she does draw well. I would not be rushing into to take these odds, wait back until the barrier draw.
